Our Story:

The Groundwater Model Project is a nonprofit organization associated with the UWSP Student Chapter of American Water Resources Association. We started in the early 1980's after building our first model as a project. As interest and demand grew for the model we grew into the business that we are today.

The Groundwater Model Project is a 100% UW-Stevens Point student run business. Our groundwater model is used as an educational tool to demonstrate how water and contaminants move through aquifers, various soil structures and watersheds.

 Our Purpose:

  • Fund student research for the UW-Stevens Point Chapter of American Water Resources Association
  • Provide valuable work experience for students in the College of Natural Resources
  • Further groundwater education around the world!
