The Women’s Resource Center is a student run organization dedicated to raising awareness and breaking the barriers around sex and gender issues while celebrating inclusivity, diversity, and promoting equality.

We hold educational programs and awareness events during the school year while maintaining office hours to provide information and support for sexual assault, eating disorders, body image, sexual health, domestic violence. As well, we offer FREE resources to the campus and community such as pads, tampons, pregnancy tests, condoms, etc. Along with resources, in our office you can find our library which contains books, magazines, and brochures on a range of topics which are available for check out up to four weeks.

Our office provides a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere for students to gather information for classes, catch up on current developments in gender issues, or simply chill out with the awesome executive board!

We deal with many sensitive issues, but we also like to have fun! We enjoy socializing with our members and learning more about them. Stop by our office anytime we’re open, it is a safe and confidential space for all who stop in.

The Women's Resource Center is funded annually through the Student Government Association and is staffed by students and advised by a permanent staff position, the Gender & Sexuality Outreach Coordinator.
